Kosh (John Kosh) is one of the original artists of Rock and Roll. He is a winner of three Grammy Awards and has six nominations for art direction. Kosh is the former art director for Apple Records and was the designer for many of The Beatles solo projects. He handled the “War is over” campaign for John Lennon & Yoko Ono and created the iconic covers of The Beatles’ Abbey Road. The Who’s – Who’s Next, The Eagles’ – Hotel California and ELO’s Out of the Blue were among many others.
He has created art for some of the most influential bands and musicians including The Rolling Stones, ELO, The Who, James Taylor, Humble Pie, The Pointer Sisters, The Jackson 5, Cher, Bob Seger, Rod Stewart, Spinal Tap, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffett, Linda Ronstadt, Dan Fogelberg, Carole King, W.A.S.P., Randy Newman, REO Speedwagon and many, many more.
Kosh has created art that perfectly accompanies some of the greatest music of all time and his album artwork has been exhibited at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum.
